English Homestay in the Cotswolds with Richard

Richard is a qualified teacher of English living in Cheltenham with his wife Alison. Richard has three grown up children and lives in a comfortable and spacious home. Richard developed a career in the area of Financial Sales, working both in companies and self-employed. Much of Richard’s work has been in helping small businesses and start-up companies. After taking early retirement from the Financial Services industry, Richard trained as a teacher of English. Richard enjoys his new career which gives a great balance of home and working life. Richard especially enjoys the interaction with his students and sharing the sights and attractions in Cheltenham and the surrounding area know as the Cotswolds.

Although Richard specializes in Business English courses, he also works with many students on general English courses and English plus Leisure courses.

Richard encourages his student to enjoy and embrace the ‘unexpected’ during an English Homestay course. Although the teacher can plan many interesting activities, it can often be the unexpected or chance encounter that makes the hometuition experience very memorable and create surprising clear and interesting insights into British culture and English language.
